Here&#8217;s What You Need To Do"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Road Transport Department (JPJ) announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/paultan.org\/2016\/06\/01\/jpj-introduces-vehicle-ownership-certificate-as-replacement-for-current-registration-card-system\/\">replacement of the old car grant with the Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC)<\/a> effective June 2016.\u00a0It is an effort to further streamline and expand the department&#8217;s online services and enable easier and faster future transactions for the public. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to a grant, the VOC contains all relevant vehicle and ownership details online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though it is not necessary to provide the car grant during the\u00a0roadtax renewal or changing of vehicle ownership, note that you will need the document if you would like to sell your car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img
