A firm tyre grip is a crucial element you need in car emergencies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As such, you must ensure your tyres have optimum air pressure. Additionally, ensure that the tread of each tyre is in good condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For your information, on average, a new car tyre has about 8mm of tread depth. When a tyre reaches the 3mm limit, you are advised to replace the tyre. Your car tyre is technically completely worn out at a minimum tread depth of 1.5mm (around 3\u00bc of a tyre surface).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the tread depth on the tyre decreases, it will also indirectly decrease the tyre function. A brake pad is not the only component required to stop your car. However, if you do not send your car for service, you can check and change the engine oil yourself. We recommend using high-quality engine oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Changing engine oil is easy. Dip an oil dipstick in the engine oil to check its colour and level. Ensure the new engine oil is at the recommended level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Do not let the engine oil exceed the limit, as this can leave sediment that will stick and thicken on the inside of the engine.
