In this post, we&#8217;re sharing the product names in case you want to grab one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Here are a few important things to note about Covid-19 antigen rapid self-test kits. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Covid-19 antigen rapid self-test kits <a href=\"https:\/\/covid-19.moh.gov.my\/semasa-kkm\/2021\/07\/garis-panduan-pengurusan-kit-ujian-kendiri-covid-19-23072021\">don\u2019t replace the diagnostic function of real-time reverse transcription\u2013polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)<\/a>. However, they\u2019re <a href=\"https:\/\/covid-19.moh.gov.my\/semasa-kkm\/2021\/07\/garis-panduan-pengurusan-kit-ujian-kendiri-covid-19-23072021\">a convenient and quick measure to detect Covid-19 infection<\/a>.<\/li><li>All self-test kits are for <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.mda.gov.my\/announcement\/631-self-test-covid-19-test-kit-for-conditional-approval-approved.html\">screening purposes<\/a> only. Therefore, you still need to get yourself tested through RT-PCR for result confirmation.<\/li><li>Depending on the self-test kits, you would need a sample of your <a href=\"https:\/\/portal.mda.gov.my\/announcement\/631-self-test-covid-19-test-kit-for-conditional-approval-approved.html\">saliva, nasal swab or a combination of saliva and nasal swab <\/a>to perform the test.&nbsp;<\/li><li>You must update in your MySejahtera application your self-test result regardless of the result i.e.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nst.com.my\/news\/nation\/2021\/07\/711007\/self-test-kit-results-must-be-reported-mysejahtera-says-health-minister\"> positive, negative, or invalid<\/a>.
