This is to ensure the cool air from the air conditioner recirculates in the car and cools down the air in your vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, when parking your car in the open and hot weather, we advise you to turn off the recirculation button to open the air conditioner flaps. When the air conditioner flaps are open, the outside air will enter the car and be vented out, reducing the temperature inside the vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensure that you only open the air conditioner flaps when your car is parked. Opening the flaps when driving will cause the air in your vehicle to be warm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"slightly-roll-down-your-windows\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Slightly_roll_down_your_windows\"><\/span>Slightly roll down your windows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lower your car windows slightly when parking your car in the open to reduce the heat in your vehicle. The small opening lets the built-up heat escape and helps facilitate some airflow through the car\u2019s cabin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure that you only slightly roll down your windows to prevent a break-in.
