{"id":27996,"date":"2022-03-31T11:58:21","date_gmt":"2022-03-31T03:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bjak.my\/blog\/?p=27996"},"modified":"2025-11-05T17:43:05","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T09:43:05","slug":"malaysia-singapore-a-week-toll-exemption-for-all-vehicles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bjak.my\/blog\/info\/malaysia-singapore-a-week-toll-exemption-for-all-vehicles","title":{"rendered":"Malaysia-Singapore: A week toll exemption for all vehicles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The government has announced a toll exemption for all vehicles at the Malaysia-Singapore border for a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The toll exemption is applicable for all vehicles&nbsp;travelling via the&nbsp;Johor Causeway&nbsp;(Sultan Iskandar) and the&nbsp;Second Link&nbsp;(Tanjung Kupang) from 1 until 7 April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The announcement is made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, in conjunction with <a href=\"http:\/\/bjak.my\/blog\/malaysia-singapore-to-reopen-land-border-starting-april-1\/(opens in a new tab)\">reopening land routes between the two countries starting this April 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Ismail said the exemption aims to smooth traffic at the two toll plazas with the opening of the land border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe move is in line with the approach to facilitate cross-border movement with Singapore. The same goes for the arrival of Singaporeans to Malaysia with the reopening of the country\u2019s borders.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, the government announced the <a href=\"https:\/\/bjak.my\/blog\/malaysia-singapore-to-reopen-land-border-starting-april-1\/\">full reopening of&nbsp;the Malaysia-Singapore land border starting on April 1<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fully vaccinated travellers do not have to undergo quarantine and Covid-19 testing before and after their arrival.
