Puspakom<\/a> is now running the campaign namely #DriveSafeNoRegrets, a free Voluntary Vehicle Inspection for private vehicle owners in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign will last for 12 days – starting from 17 to 29 April 2022 all Puspakom inspection centres (excluding Shah Alam and Pasir Gudang).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For convenience, people can start booking an early appointment online at www.mypuspakom.com.my<\/a>. You may also opt for a walk-in at Puspakom’s mobile checking points. However, you may need to queue for your turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proper vehicle check-up before Balik Kampung<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This safety campaign will include a 25-point vehicle safety check. Examples are brakes, tyres, suspensions, lights, and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is to ensure that the vehicles are in optimum condition before heading back to your loved ones for Hari Raya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puspakom Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Shukor Ismail said the campaign aims to raise public awareness of the need for scheduled vehicle inspections to ensure the level of vehicle safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said proper inspection is necessary as the number of vehicles on the road is likely to soar this festive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“To the public’s knowledge, Puspakom uses computerized inspection tools to test the vehicle’ efficiency and effectiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Vehicle owners will receive VVI reports, following the international standards as a reference. Therefore, they can know the actual condition of the driven vehicle or possible damage to vehicle components.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who intend to attend must follow the set Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Examples: wear a face mask, scan MySejahtera, and practice social distancing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
