Saintis memanggil situasi tersebut sebagai <em>&#8216;Temperature Homeostasis&#8217;<\/em>, iaitu proses badan menetapkan suhu antara 36\u00baC-38\u00baC, yang menjadi fenomena biasa di negara beriklim sejuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Situasi itu boleh berlaku jika memasang penyaman udara dengan tahap sejuk maksimum. Apabila suhu sekeliling jadi sejuk dan suhu badan turun bawah 35\u00baC, badan akan mengalami hipotermia sederhana yang membuatkan kita mula rasa mengantuk dan ketangkasan deria semakin perlahan.
