Puspakom<\/a> Sdn Bhd has announced that all payment transactions for all vehicle inspections will go cashless<\/a> starting July 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief executive officer Shukor Ismail said they will enforce the cashless transaction method at all 54 checkpoints nationwide. He added that customers may make payments online via e-wallets, credit cards, and debit cards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other cashless payments through various e-wallet options include Puspakom e-wallet, Maybank QRPay, GrabPay, Touch \u2018n Go eWallet, Boost, WeChat Pay, and Alipay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shukor said the cashless payments have been implemented since April last year. He added that it includes the issuance of paperless electronic inspection reports and receipts as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“However, cash payments were still allowed at that time. There were still a small number of customers who did not have e-wallets, debit, or credit cards.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said 90% of Puspakom customers use the cashless method at all branches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This clearly shows that cashless payment is an option. It is easier, faster, and safer in terms of hygiene during the current pandemic.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
