If she renewed her roadtax two months in advance, the expiry date of the new one will fall on 6\/7\/2024. This means the starting date of the new roadtax will still follow the expiry date of the old roadtax even if she wants to renew it earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_early_can_you_renew_your_roadtax\"><\/span>How early can you renew your roadtax?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For now, JPJ allows you to perform renewal as early as two months before the expiry date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you still need to ensure that your car insurance has been activated beforehand to renew the roadtax. The roadtax renewal process cannot be initiated online or offline without a valid insurance policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_you_only_renew_it_for_one_year\"><\/span>Can you only renew it for one year?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Though it&#8217;s common to think that only a 1-year renewal is possible, vehicle owners have two options in most cases. One is to renew their roadtax for at least six months; the other most common option is a maximum of 1 year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The renewal process for both are similar. However, in some cases, you can only renew the roadtax in one of the given periods. A good example would be roadtax renewal for vehicles of deceased owners.
