But you can rejoice as the wait is going to be over as Perodua has announced on its website that they will unveil the latest edition of Myvi exclusively on their social media sites on Nov 18 at 9.00 pm.

Myvi 2022 comes in 6 colours
One of the things that excite Myvi enthusiasts is the colours of the latest Myvi. As shown in its teasers, its newest and most special colour is Cranberry Red. However, this colour is only available for the AV variant. But you do not have to worry as there are 5 other colours which are Electric Blue, Granite Grey, Lava Red, Glittering Silver and Ivory White (Solid). Myvi 2022 comes in 5 variants, all auto-transmitted
The latest Myvi comes in 5 auto-transmitted variants which are 1.5 litre AV (Advance), 1.5 litre H, 1.5 litre X and two variants of 1.3 litre G.
For your information, all variants are only auto-transmitted as Perodua has ceased the production of manually-transmitted Myvis.
Latest features of Myvi 2022
Based on the write-up by Mekanika, the latest features of Myvi 2022 are as follows:
1. Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA) – This latest feature covers the Lane Departure Warning, Lane Departure Prevention, Lane Keep Control, Adaptive Cruise Control and Smart LED Lamps.
2. Smart LED lamps – The latest Myvi may come with adaptive technology that self-operates high-beam and low-beam lamps with the help of the PSDA. If this new Myvi uses the same adaptive lamp system as Perodua Ativa, the left and right lamps will operate individually for high beam and low beam. In this case, you may no longer need fog lamps.
3. Daytime Running Light (DRL) – Daytime Running Light helps in making cars more visible from a distance at day time during dark weather, thereby increasing the safety feature of the car.
4. Digital camera recorder – Digital camera recorder has only been previously used for Perodua Ativa and Aruz. But it will also be available for the latest Myvi.
5. New transmission – Myvi 2022 will use the Dual Mode CVT (DCVT), replacing the 4-speed automatic transmission. Hence, this will improve fuel consumption from 21.1 km/litre to 22.2 km/litre for the 1.3 variant. However, the gear knob for the new Myvi does not have a Shiftronic feature that Perodua Ativa has.
6. New colour – It has been a tradition for Perodua to introduce new car colours for its facelifted models. For Myvi 2022, Perodua introduced a new colour that is Cranberry Red as we have shared above. However, this colour is only available for the AV variant. Besides this colour, Lava Red which has been previously introduced for Perodua Aruz is also used for the latest Myvi.
7. New steering design – A new steering design used for Ativa has replaced the previous steering wheel. However, there is no confirmation yet whether the Power button that is available for Ativa will also be available for the latest Myvi.
8. Fully digital meter panel – The latest Myvi also comes with a fully digital meter panel with colours that offer more interesting infographics.
9. Red accents for the air conditioning vents – The chrome accents for the air conditioning vents are replaced with red accents.
