Automatic car
For an automatic car, you have to press the brake pedal while the gear is still shifted in ‘D’ mode in order to stop the car.

The wall can act as a barricade if your car rolls suddenly.
Ascending hill
For car parking on an ascending hill – turn the tire against the roadside wall. Let the car reverse slowly until the tire touches the roadside wall.
