PDRM Offers Summons Discounts Up To 50% From 19 – 21 August!

PDRM Offers Summons Discounts Up To 50% From 19 – 23 August!

Good news for anyone who has traffic summonses piled up and has not been able to clear them yet. The incredible summons discounts are back again this Merdeka month!

This is your chance to clear your outstanding summonses debt all at once, at a discounted price!

Don’t delay if you do not want to get summoned by the authorities. As such, we advise you to pay your summons on time to avoid any complications.

    PDRM offers discounts for summons

In conjunction with the Selangor Malaysian Family Aspiration (Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia) celebration, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is offering discounts for selected offences up to 50%.

People may either choose to visit the Shah Alam stadium carnival site and the Shah Alam district police headquarters from 91 to 21 August 2022. Payment can only be made at these venues’ payment counter from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

List of summonses that are not qualified for discounts

However, note that NOT all offences are eligible for discounts. Some other common traffic offences that are not qualified for discounts include:

    • Accident
    • Dangerous overtaking
    • Emergency lane use
    • Running red lights
    • Crossing over double lines
    • Non-compoundable offences
    • Offenses with a trial status
    • Offences related to heavy vehicles
    • Illegal vehicle exhaust modification

Ensure to pay summons to avoid complications during roadtax renewal

You may face complications during road tax renewal if you have outstanding unpaid summons.

During renewal, your outstanding summons and blacklist records will be reflected in The Road Transport Department (JPJ) and The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) database systems. As a result, you will not be able to renew your roadtax.

Therefore, we advise you to settle your summons as soon as possible. Grab this opportunity to clear them before it gets too late!

Other than that, do not forget to check the validity of your car insurance. You do not want to receive a summons for driving with expired insurance at roadblocks. If your insurance is expiring, you can easily renew your insurance online at Bjak.my.
