On 6 May 2024, JPJ issued a statement about BJAK’s online road tax renewal service. JPJ said:- BJAK was not authorised by JPJ or the Ministry of Transport to conduct the road tax renewal transactions being promoted.
- The claim that BJAK’s road tax service had been audited, verified and approved by JPJ was inaccurate.
- BJAK’s system was not directly integrated with JPJ’s MySIKAP system.
