No. BJAK's Easy Payment Plan (EPP) and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options have no hidden fees, and BJAK does not add any service charge. For EPP, your bank may apply a one-time processing fee depending on its own terms, so check with your bank before confirming.

Which banks support the Easy Payment Plan (EPP)?

BJAK's EPP works with 12 banks: Maybank, CIMB, UOB, HSBC, Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank, Alliance Bank, RHB, AmBank, OCBC, Affin Bank, and Standard Chartered. You can pay in 3, 6, or 12 monthly instalments using a credit card from any of these banks.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still pay in instalments?

Yes. With Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) you can split your payment without a credit card. BJAK supports 4 BNPL providers: SPayLater, Grab PayLater, Ahapay, and Atome. You only need your e-wallet account and your IC to get started.

If I pay in instalments, am I covered immediately?

Yes. Your insurance coverage is active from day one, even when you pay through EPP or BNPL. You do not need to finish all instalments before you are protected — your policy and digital cover note are issued once your first payment is confirmed.

What is the difference between EPP and BNPL, and which should I choose?

EPP uses your credit card to split the payment into 3, 6, or 12 monthly instalments with no hidden fees. BNPL does not need a credit card — it splits your payment through an e-wallet provider instead. Choose EPP if you have a credit card and want longer instalment periods; choose BNPL if you do not have a credit card.

How do I pay with cash at 7-Eleven or KK Mart?

First, complete your renewal on BJAK and choose 'Pay at counter'. BJAK then gives you a payment code. Take this code to any 7-Eleven or KK Mart outlet and pay the cashier in cash. Your payment is updated automatically once it is processed.

Can I pay at 7-Eleven at night?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 7-Eleven outlets are open 24 hours, so you can pay your insurance renewal in cash at any time, day or night.

Can I pay for car insurance and road tax together?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When you renew with BJAK, your car insurance and road tax can be paid together in one transaction, and you can still use EPP, BNPL, or cash payment for the combined amount.
