How does BJAK roadtax renewal work?
BJAK lets you renew your insurance and roadtax together online. The process starts with insurance because roadtax can only be renewed after your insurance is active.Once checkout is completed, your insurance renewal is processed first. If you selected roadtax, the roadtax renewal will then be submitted for JPJ processing. BJAK will notify you once it is done, and you can check your digital roadtax in MyJPJ.
Important: There is no physical roadtax sticker. Once processed, your roadtax is digital and can be viewed in MyJPJ.

From insurance to digital roadtax, here is every step of the online renewal.1
Check or compare insurance
Before renewing roadtax, make sure your insurance is renewed and active. If your insurance is not renewed yet, you will need to renew it first.2
Add roadtax renewal
During the renewal flow, choose roadtax if you want BJAK to help continue the roadtax process after insurance renewal.3
Complete checkout
Make payment online for your selected insurance and roadtax renewal, where applicable.4
Insurance is processed first
Your insurance or cover note is processed before roadtax can continue.5
Roadtax is submitted for JPJ processing
Once insurance is active and the required details are valid, the roadtax renewal will be submitted for JPJ processing.6
BJAK notifies you when done
BJAK will send you a receipt and renewal status update once the process is completed.7

Where to find your digital roadtax
Once your roadtax is processed, you can view it in the MyJPJ app.1MyJPJ
Set up your MyJPJ account
Download MyJPJ from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Register an account, log in, set your security questions, and create your password.2MyJPJ
Go to your vehicle profile
Open MyJPJ, go to Profile, then select Vehicle.3MyJPJ
Tap your plate number
Choose your vehicle plate number to view your digital roadtax.4MyJPJ
Use fullscreen view
Tap Fullscreen View to show your digital roadtax when needed.5MyJPJ
Share digital roadtax if needed
If someone else drives your car, you can use Share LKM in MyJPJ to share the digital roadtax with them.Can I download or print my roadtax?
Your digital roadtax in MyJPJ is sufficient for authorities. If you want a backup, you can take a screenshot while in fullscreen view and keep it on your phone or print it for your own reference.Note: Digital roadtax currently applies to private vehicle owners such as cars and motorcycles. Commercial or company-owned vehicles may still require traditional documentation.
If it is delayed
Why your roadtax may not show immediately
Roadtax status may not appear instantly in MyJPJ. Updates usually take up to 1 working day, but some cases may take longer if extra checks are needed.Common reasons include:
Insurance is not active yet
Payment is not completed
Vehicle details need checking
Owner details do not match
Unpaid summons or blacklist issues
E-hailing vehicle not supported
System processing delay
Extra verification is required
If your status is still unclear after processing, contact BJAK support with your vehicle number, payment reference, registered phone number, and email.
