How is my payment processed securely?

What happens when you pay

When you select a payment method, you are directed into the relevant provider's payment process. The provider checks and processes the transaction, then returns a result and reference to BJAK.

BJAK uses this result to update your order as successful, failed or pending. BJAK does not need your full card number to manage the order.

Which providers are used

  • Fiuu supports selected online banking and e-wallet channels. Refund support differs by channel, and 7-Eleven refunds are not supported.
  • Xendit supports eligible credit-card transactions. FPX refunds are not supported through Xendit.
  • Payex supports eligible card transactions.
  • Atome supports eligible instalment transactions.
  • Ahapay supports eligible instalment transactions.
  • Paynet supports eligible online banking (FPX) transactions.

Available methods can change based on provider availability, order type and eligibility.

What BJAK keeps

BJAK keeps the transaction reference, payment status, amount, selected channel and other records required to manage the order, support reconciliation and handle a refund when applicable.

How to protect yourself

Never share your one-time password, online banking password, full card details or card security code with anyone through WhatsApp, email or chat. Check that the website address and payment page are correct before continuing. For more on protecting yourself online, see BJAK's cyber-security and fraud awareness note for users and its guide to detecting insurance fraud and avoiding scams.

Important clarification

No payment system is free from all risk. BJAK and its payment providers use controls intended to reduce risk, monitor transactions and respond to issues, but customers should still protect their login and payment information.
