How long does a refund take?
Atome
Eligible Atome refunds are initiated instantly for supported transactions.
Xendit
Eligible Xendit refunds are initiated instantly for supported credit-card transactions. FPX refunds are not supported through Xendit. Supported card transactions may be linked to issuers including Bank Islam, Public Bank, RYT Bank, UOB and AEON.
Fiuu
Fiuu refund timing depends on the original channel:
- 1 working day: ShopeePay and Grab PayLater
- 2 working days: Maybank, CIMB, Bank Islam, Hong Leong Bank, Public Bank and Bank Rakyat
- Not supported: 7-Eleven transactions
When the timing starts
The stated timing applies after BJAK has verified the refund request and submitted it through the payment provider.
What can cause additional delay
Incorrect refund details, an unmatched transaction, an unsupported channel or a bank-side review may require additional checking.
Important clarification
"Instant" means the refund is initiated immediately through the supported provider flow. The time it takes to appear in the customer's account or statement may still depend on how the bank or payment account displays the transaction.
