Why is my policy not active yet?
Details do not match
The registered owner's identity, vehicle number and vehicle details must match the relevant records. A mismatch may require manual checking or supporting documents.
Additional photos are required
Some insurers require vehicle or odometer photos before issuing coverage. The order cannot complete until acceptable photos are uploaded and reviewed.
No-Claim Discount is not confirmed
The No-Claim Discount may need to be verified against existing records. If it cannot be confirmed, the premium or order details may need to be updated.
Insurer review is required
Some vehicles, coverage selections or customer details require manual approval by the insurer or takaful operator. BJAK cannot issue the policy until the provider completes this review.
Temporary system issues
Insurer, payment, JPJ or other connected systems may be temporarily unavailable. BJAK may need to retry the submission when the service is available again. BJAK explains related situations in what happens when the cover note is not available during a JPJ check and why roadtax renewal is delayed by a JPJ and insurer data mismatch.
What you should do
Check the order status and complete any requested action. Make sure uploaded photos and documents are clear and match the vehicle and registered owner.
Important clarification
BJAK can help follow up, but the insurer or takaful operator controls final policy approval and issuance.
