What can delay roadtax renewal?
Insurance must be active first
The roadtax process needs valid insurance information. If the policy is still pending, the roadtax renewal cannot complete.
Vehicle or owner details do not match
Differences in the vehicle registration number, identity details or other records may cause the submission to be rejected or sent for further review.
JPJ or PDRM restrictions
A vehicle blacklist, summons-related restriction or other record issue may prevent renewal. BJAK cannot remove these restrictions on the customer's behalf.
System availability
JPJ, insurer or connected service systems may be unavailable because of maintenance or temporary errors. The request may need to be retried later.
Additional customer action
BJAK may ask for updated information, proof of ownership or other documents. Delays continue until the required action is completed.
What to do
Check your order status and any message sent by BJAK. Resolve any JPJ or PDRM restriction directly with the relevant authority, then contact BJAK when the record has been updated. These guides go deeper: why roadtax renewal stalls on a JPJ and insurer data mismatch, how to update your JPJ information for roadtax renewal, and what happens when you renew with an unpaid summons.
