What happens after I pay?
Step 1: Payment and order verification
BJAK confirms the payment result and checks important details such as the vehicle registration number, owner information, selected coverage, No-Claim Discount and policy start date.
Step 2: Additional requirements
Some orders require more information before they can proceed. This may include vehicle photos, an odometer photo, updated identification details, insurer confirmation or manual review.
Step 3: Submission to the provider
When the required information is complete, BJAK submits the order to the selected insurer or takaful operator. The provider then completes its own checks and issues the policy or cover note when approved. Step 4: Roadtax processing
If roadtax is included, the relevant amount is used to complete the roadtax renewal process after the required insurance information is available.
Step 5: Updates and documents
BJAK sends updates through the contact details linked to the order, such as email or WhatsApp. You can also use BJAK's available status channels to check progress.
Important clarification
Payment is not the same as policy activation. Coverage begins according to the effective date on the policy or cover note issued by the insurer or takaful operator.
