How do I check my roadtax?
Before checking MyJPJ
Roadtax renewal can only complete after the required insurance information is active and the vehicle records pass the relevant checks. A successful payment alone does not confirm that the renewal is complete.
How to check
Open MyJPJ and sign in using the account linked to the registered vehicle owner. BJAK has step-by-step guides on renewing and checking roadtax with the MyJPJ app, what digital and physical roadtax mean in MyJPJ, and what to do when roadtax is not showing in MyJPJ. Check the vehicle details and digital roadtax information shown in the app.
You can also review the BJAK order status for updates about insurance and roadtax processing.
Why the update may not appear immediately
A delay can happen when:
- The insurance policy is not active yet
- Vehicle or owner details do not match
- There is a JPJ or PDRM restriction
- A relevant system is temporarily unavailable
- Additional information is required
What to do if the roadtax is missing
Check whether BJAK has requested any action. If the order shows completed but MyJPJ has not updated after the stated processing period, contact BJAK support with the order details.
Important clarification
MyJPJ is operated separately from BJAK. Availability and display timing can depend on JPJ's systems and records.
