Why the vehicle number is required
The vehicle registration number helps identify the correct vehicle record. It allows BJAK and the relevant service providers to retrieve details needed for quotation and roadtax processing, such as the vehicle make, model and registration information.
Why the NRIC or identification number is required
The identification number helps confirm the registered owner and retrieve information linked to the owner, including the applicable No-Claim Discount. It may also be required by insurers, takaful operators, JPJ or other relevant systems to process the transaction.
How the information is used
BJAK uses the information to:
- Retrieve eligible quotations
- Confirm vehicle and owner details
- Check the No-Claim Discount
- Submit the selected order
- Support policy and roadtax processing
- Prevent the order from being issued with incorrect details
What happens when details do not match
A mismatch can delay the order or require additional documents. BJAK may ask you to confirm the information or provide supporting documents before processing continues.
How your information is protected
Access is limited according to job responsibilities. BJAK handles personal data according to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and applicable requirements.
