Is there a refund-processing fee?
BJAK does not charge a refund-processing fee when an order cannot be completed. If an active policy is cancelled, the insurer or takaful operator may apply its own cancellation terms.
Unsuccessful orders
When a service cannot be completed and a refund applies, BJAK does not add a separate fee for processing that refund.
Partial orders
If an order contains more than one service and only one part fails, the refund may cover only the unsuccessful part. The completed part remains charged.
Active-policy cancellation
When a policy is already active, the insurer or takaful operator decides whether a refund is available. The provider may calculate a prorated or short-period refund based on the policy terms, coverage period and cancellation reason.
Payment-provider deductions
If the payment provider, bank or instalment provider applies its own terms, these may affect the final amount or how the refund is displayed. BJAK will explain any known difference before or during processing where possible.
What to do if the amount is unexpected
Contact BJAK with the order and refund reference. The team can explain which part was refunded and whether the insurer or provider applied any adjustment.
