Does an insurer pay to appear first?
Within the comparison panel, an insurer does not receive a higher default position because it pays BJAK more. Customers remain in control of the sorting and filters they use.
Default presentation
Available quotations are shown in random order by default. You can sort and filter the results based on your own needs.
Customer-selected sorting
The order can change when you choose a sorting option. For example, selecting lowest premium will move lower-priced quotations higher, while other filters may show only products matching selected criteria.
How BJAK earns commission
BJAK may receive a commission when a customer buys a policy through the platform. The commission arrangement does not change the customer's ability to view, sort and compare available quotations.
What customers should compare
Review more than the position of a quotation. Check:
- Total premium
- Coverage limits
- Excess
- Included benefits
- Optional add-ons
- Takaful or conventional insurance type
- Approval and policy requirements
Important clarification
This statement applies to the default order within BJAK's comparison panel. Promotional areas outside the standard comparison list, if any, should be clearly identified and managed separately.
